Worked at Boeing since 1999 with extensive international aviation experience. Experienced in business operations, leadership, and working with diverse communities and organizations. Managing Director and Founder of a successful financial company.

Education

MBA in Leadership, Webster University and Certified Public Manager, Texas State University.

Community Service

I believe public service begins in the community. Active participant in Mukilteo-Edmonds community events, city meetings, civic engagement, and volunteer efforts supporting public safety, transportation, and neighborhood issues. Neighborhood Watch-Captain promoting safer neighborhood.

Statement

Riaz Khan is running for State Senate to bring practical leadership, public safety, economic growth, and government accountability to Olympia. As a former Mukilteo City Councilmember and longtime community advocate, Riaz understands the challenges facing working families, small businesses, and taxpayers across the 21st Legislative District.

Riaz believes Washington must focus on safer neighborhoods, lower taxes, affordable housing, transportation improvements, and strong support for education and local businesses. He supports responsible budgeting, reducing unnecessary government spending, and protecting opportunities for future generations. With international professional experience in engineering and years of community involvement. Riaz brings a unique perspective focused on problem-solving, collaboration, and results. He believes leaders should listen to residents, respect differing opinions, and work together to strengthen communities.

Riaz is committed to representing all residents of the district with integrity, transparency, and accessibility. He will advocate for policies that improve quality of life while keeping Washington economically competitive and safe for families and businesses.
